Welcome

WHAT IS REFLEXOLOGY?

Reflexology is a gentle yet powerful technique working with the feet and has its roots in traditional Chinese medicine. Working with the principle that the feet are a reflection of the body, with points corresponding to different areas of the body, reflexology uses pressure techniques with the thumb and fingers.

When we apply varying pressures to the feet, we encourage the body towards a state of equilibrium. Reflexology is an excellent way to regulate a frazzled nervous system and with regular treatments, can result in a shift in symptom pattern - allow the body to return to a place of 'rest / digest' - rather than continuing in the 'fight / flight ' response we are all too familiar with.

The feet are commonly overlooked in our modern approach to healthcare; they're the furthest point from our busy minds. But in truth, they ground us in our connection to the earth, bear our weight and take us forwards. I support my clients through life's many fluctuations, encouraging everyone to connect more fully with their bodies.
